The Fourth of July looked a little different this year.
I spent it at Freedom of War at , where race fuel, tire smoke, and fireworks made for one unforgettable holiday. From daylight to well after dark, the action never stopped, and there was no shortage of incredible moments to capture.

The weather may have cut TNT short on Friday, but Saturday's Super Series Shootout made up for it with some awesome racing.

Not every gig takes you 13,000 feet up a mountain.
The weekend kicked off at the Fan Fest in downtown Colorado Springs, where the streets were packed with fans, race teams, and some incredible show cars. It was a chance to get up close to the cars and meet the drivers.
Sunday started at 2:00 a.m. with a drive up Pikes Peak to my camera position, over 13,000 feet above sea level. Fifteen hours on the mountain, unpredictable weather, and enough altitude that oxygen became part of the gear list.
Between the scenery, the incredible racing, and getting to experience one of the most iconic motorsports events from behind the scenes, this is one I'll never forget.

My first time to Albuquerque Dragway was for All Out Call Out and the event did not disappoint!
