Last week I photographed families under cloudy skies... and just a few days later under beautiful golden sunshine.

Both sessions turned out stunning just in different ways.

Cloudy evenings give soft, creamy skin tones and dreamy colors. ☁️

Sunny evenings bring that warm, golden glow everyone loves. ☀️

My job is knowing how to use whatever Mother Nature gives us so your memories are beautiful either way.

If you've been worried about the forecast for your beach session, don't stress. Some of my favorite galleries have come from days that looked less than perfect. 🤍

Soft clouds create beautiful, even light, gorgeous skin tones, and allow us to photograph without harsh shadows or squinting into the sun. We may have had a few weather worries, but these moments turned out absolutely beautiful.

I think this little guy and his bunny would agree. 🤍

"Cloudy beach evenings will forever have my heart. 🤍

One thing I hear all the time is, 'What if it's cloudy?'

The truth is, some of my favorite images are made on overcast evenings. Soft light, beautiful skin tones, and a romantic coastal feel that photographs so well.

I'm already counting down to their November beach wedding these images are the perfect reminder that you don't need a bright sunset to create something beautiful.
