⚽💜💛 BCHS VARSITY BOYS SOCCER vs. BEXLEY 💛💜⚽

Not the final result our Bulldogs were hoping for against Bexley, but these boys never stopped working and gave it everything they had until the final whistle. 💪⚽

Mother Nature apparently decided soccer needed to be played at an OUTDOOR SAUNA for this one. 🥵😂 The sunshine was AMAZING from behind my camera 📸, but I’m pretty sure the boys running up and down that field had a few different opinions about it… maybe next time we can order it with about 20 fewer degrees and a LOT less humidity. 🤣☀️

Keep pushing, Dawgs! One game doesn’t define the season. 💜💛

Well, we had a little overhead visitor during the Bulldogs vs. Lions game yesterday! 🚁😂

Not sure if they were up there trying to get some aerial action shots of the game 📸🏈… or if they were searching for someone. 👀🤣

Either way, I’m going to assume I had some photography competition in the sky. 😂

Next time, at least send me the pictures so I can compare angles! 🤣📸🚁

Well, the game may not have ended the way our Bulldogs wanted, but it was still a great game and these boys kept battling! 💪⚽

And can we talk about the HEAT?! 🥵 I absolutely LOVED all that beautiful daylight for pictures 📸☀️… but I could have done without the heat and humidity for these kids who basically run approximately ONE MILLION MILES during a soccer game. 😂

Seriously, I don't know how they do it because I was hot just standing there holding a camera! 🤣

Okay, okay… he might not actually be 7 feet tall, but from where I was standing with my camera, SIR WAS A GIANT. 🤣 And somehow he possessed the magical ability to run DIRECTLY in front of my lens at the EXACT moment I wanted the shot multiple times. 🤣

🏈💜💛 WHAT. A. GAME. 8TH GRADE BULLDOGS!! 💛💜🏈

After a rough one last week, these boys came back last tonight with A POINT TO PROVE… and apparently they decided 48 points would prove it. 😂🏈🔥

One thing I know about these boys—they may get knocked down, but they’re going to get right back up FIGHTING. Tonight, absolutely NO ONE was standing in their way. 💪💜💛

Meanwhile, your friendly neighborhood camera lady is officially on DAY FIVE of football pictures. 📸😵‍💫 At this point, I’m fairly certain I have developed arthritis in my shutter-button finger and may need to investigate whether this qualifies for a Workman’s Comp claim. 😂😂

💜💛🏈 This right here makes my heart happy.

Of all the Bible verses, seeing Matthew 19:26 connected to football just hits a little differently after watching these boys go from a tough loss last week to coming back this week.

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26 🙏

What a testament to life both on and off the football field.

Sometimes you lose. Sometimes things don't go the way you hoped. Sometimes you have to pick yourself back up, dust yourself off, and try again.

Keep pushing. Keep believing. Keep fighting.

Because one loss doesn't define you. One hard day doesn't define you. You get back up, you put in the work, and you keep the faith.

With God, all things are possible. 🙏💜💛🏈 And THIS is so much bigger than football. ❤️

🏈💜💛 WHAT A GAME FOR THE BCMS 7TH GRADE BULLDOGS! 💛💜🏈

The BCMS 7th Grade Bulldogs took on FUMS last night, and MAN... these boys came ready to play bringing home a giant W! 🔥🏈

But seriously... WHEN DID THESE KIDS GET THIS BIG?! 😭

I have watched so many of them come up through bitty football, when their helmets looked bigger than their bodies and they were just learning the game. Now I'm standing on the sidelines photographing them playing MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL?!

Nope. I don't approve. 😂 Boys, you need to SLOW DOWN AND STOP GROWING UP SO FAST! 💜💛 (rolling eyes and cringe comments to follow every middle school boy reading this)

It is so much fun watching them get older, faster, stronger and more confident on that field. You can see all those years of playing together starting to show, and watching them grow not only as football players but as young men is pretty darn special.

I swear I blinked and we went from those little bitty Bulldogs to 7th grade Bulldogs. 🥹🏈

I'm so thankful I get to stand on the sidelines with my camera and capture a little piece of their journey along the way.

Great game, boys! Keep working hard and representing that PURPLE & GOLD! 💜💛🐾
