The Arts and Auto’s car show returns to the Square! Join us for an IFS PolaWalk at Arts & Autos 2026 Saturday, September 12.

If you love historic downtowns and classic cars, custom automobiles, hot rods, trucks and more, then you’re not going to want to miss this meet-up and PolaWalk!

Mark your calendars for a day of autos, art, music, food, chalk art, vendors and more. And it’s free to attend and family friendly!

Instant Film Society is again meeting up on the Square to snap frames of all the cool cars and photographable people as the four streets surrounding the historic Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum are closed to traffic, allowing pedestrians and photographers safe, unlimited access to the dozens of cars and trucks parked in all the spots surrounding the Square.

The event also features “Chalk Fest” a chalk art contest, so, Dentonites will be filling surrounding sidewalks with colorful chalk art.

Meet us on the shady side of The Recycled Books Opera House Building (NE Corner of Locust and Oak) at 9 a.m.

We will walk the car-show then head to the Austin St. Truck Stop around Noon where attendees can grab a bite or refreshment and show off their favorite pictures from the walk.

All Cameras Welcome!

Additionally, the Courthouse-on-the-Square museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those who want to see the “Polaroids of the Instant Film Society” exhibition hung on all three floors of the museum through October 10.
