The Newsom Wedding was truly one for the books. 🤍

It was beautiful, warm, and filled with so much love. After rain showers that morning (which they say is good luck on a wedding day!), everything came together perfectly. Amber and Chancy are two of the sweetest people, and the way they love each other is so gentle, genuine, and full of grace.

From the moment I met them during their consultation, I knew their story was special. Getting to know them and hearing about the journey that brought them to this day made documenting their wedding even more meaningful. They have a love story that reminds you that the best things are worth waiting for.

Amber was absolutely stunning. Her beautiful dress was one she and her mom chose together, making it even more special. Though her mother couldn’t be there physically, her presence could be felt throughout the entire day. I have no doubt she was walking beside Amber in spirit every step of the way. Through Amber, you can tell her mama was a truly beautiful soul.

The wedding was held at The Everlasting Pond, one of my top three wedding venues in Tennessee that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing over the years. Every detail was perfect, and every moment was filled with joy.

My heart bursts a little at every wedding I have the honor of capturing, and this one was no exception. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Newsom. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful chapter in your story.

The Clarks Wedding ✨

These photos turned out absolutely phenomenal, and I want to take a moment to give credit where it is so deserved.

Back in May, during an unexpected emergency where I had to have my gallbladder removed and experienced a longer hospital stay than planned, I had to do something I had never had to do in 18 years… call in backup.

Jay stepped in without hesitation. She showed up for the Clark wedding, brought her talent, calm presence, and true gift behind the camera, and captured the day beautifully while I was recovering. I’m beyond grateful for her stepping in the way she did.

These images are edited by me, and there are still so many more beautiful moments to share.

If you are a wedding couple or future client and love the idea of extra coverage, I now offer the option to upgrade your package with a second shooter. Jay is also available to join me on wedding days when additional coverage is needed, giving couples the benefit of two photographers capturing every angle of their day.

Oh, it’s been awhile since I posted! I’ve spent the last couple weeks healing from emergency gallbladder removal surgery, then came back to work during the third week. We’ve also had graduations and birthdays to celebrate — May is always so busy around here. ❤️

Life threw me a curveball this week.

I had to have unexpected gallbladder surgery, and while I’m so thankful everything went okay, it also comes with something I wasn’t prepared for… medical bills.

So instead of sitting still, I’m doing what I love.

I’m opening up a limited number of Recovery Mini Sessions through June & July 🤍

These will be on select dates only as I ease back into shooting, and once those spots are filled, they’re gone.

There's something about the little details... ✨

The shoes, the pearls, the rings, the moments before everything begins-every piece tells part of a love story that deserves to be remembered forever.

Weddings have had my heart since the very beginning of my photography journey. It's where I feel the most alive and the most me. When I walk into a wedding day, it's like stepping into a whole new world - one where I get to pour everything I have into capturing one of the most meaningful days of someone's life.

I'm all about LOVE. Always have been. And there is truly nothing like witnessing it, feeling it, and preserving it in a way that last forever. Every couple, every story, every wedding day is completely unique and that's what makes it so special.

Because of that, I've made the decision that starting July 1st, I'll be focusing primarily on weddings and offering seasonal sessions throughout the year.

This shift allows me to pour even more into what I LOVE most, while also giving me more time with my babies, which means everything to me. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, or know someone who is, I would absolutely love to be part of your day. ✨

✨I'm officially ALL caught up!! ✨
Every gallery delivered, every session wrapped up... and somehow I made it happen before May (still a little shocked about that 🙃).
As we're heading into the crazy end-of-school-year season, I know schedules get full fast. While I don't typically offer school style sessions, I'm opening up a few spots for end of year photos for anyone wanting to capture this season 💙💛.
