As the fireworks begin to fade and another 4th of July comes to an end, I can’t help but reflect on what today truly means.❤️🤍💙

Freedom is something worth celebrating. So is love. So is family. So is the hope that one day every person can experience freedom, justice, dignity, and kindness equally.

May we continue to build a country where the red, white, and blue stand for compassion as much as strength, for unity as much as pride, and for freedom and justice for all.

While I was waiting for my client to arrive last night, I spotted this little flower and decided to challenge myself.📸

This is my very first intentional nature photograph. 🌸

I spend most of my time behind the camera capturing people, but slowing down for a few minutes reminded me that there’s beauty worth photographing everywhere. I’d say this little bloom was a pretty good place to start. 💕
