Well… surprise! 💙
Baby boy number three is on the way, and if I’m being honest, this wasn’t exactly in my plans. With Lucca being 8 and Oliver almost 4, I thought I had officially graduated from the baby stage. No more diapers, no more sleepless nights, no more nursing.
Life had other plans. 🤍
This pregnancy has brought excitement, gratitude, fear, anxiety, and one very rough first trimester. But at 19 weeks, I’m finally feeling more like myself and starting to embrace this new chapter for our family.
I shared more of the story in today’s email, including some of the challenges I’ve faced in motherhood, my plans to exclusively pump for the first time, and why this baby feels like such an unexpected gift.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments. Did you have an unexpected pregnancy? A large age gap between siblings? A motherhood experience that looked nothing like you planned? Or if you’ve exclusively pumped, send me all your tips! 💕
Motherhood is messy, beautiful, hard, joyful, and rarely looks the way we imagined. Let’s talk about it. 🤍
