Hey all!
Crazy news here! I'm simplifying and scaling back photography to enjoy more life, hikes, kayaking, traveling, or sometimes just nothing.
That means I'm getting rid of social media!
I will still do business (personal branding and product photography), birthday/anniversary/reunion events, family sessions, and be at some markets selling landscapes on a limited basis.

Until October, I will be at the Plain Farmers market (9 AM-12PM) on many Saturdays selling landscapes and wildlife. You can also purchase at Arlberg Sports at Pybus or online through https://mountainheatherphotography.shootproof.com/landscapes
After October, check out various local Chelan county area markets for my prints, mugs, notepads, and other such Christmas gifts.

In the heart of the prairie, where the sun kisses the earth and the winds whisper tales of old, we find the majestic bison, a symbol of resilience and strength. 🦬✨ This magnificent creature thrives in its vibrant habitat, surrounded by lush green grasses that sway gently in the breeze. The prairie is more than just a backdrop; it's a complex ecosystem that supports an array of life, from delicate wildflowers to soaring birds, all coexisting in harmony. Each blade of grass and every wildflower plays a role in this intricate web of life, making grasslands essential not only for bison but for countless species that call this landscape home.

It was this time 2 years ago, that I was driving through Yellowstone and then onto South Dakota and having the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of this untouched environment. I want to take a moment to also reflect on the ecological significance of preserving these natural spaces. 🌾💚 The prairie is a vital resource, providing food, shelter, and a nurturing ground for wildlife. However, many of these areas face threats from urban development and climate change. It’s crucial that we recognize our part in protecting these ecosystems for future generations.
