Saber, Southeast Corner, 5.10, 7(ish) pitches

Super sick first alpine experience and one for the books. I will certainly be back up there. Even though the climbing wasn’t tough, the alpine really takes it out of you. The boulder bro was outside his element.

Special thanks to Jose Rodriguez for a top tier guiding experience. Hire him for all your rock needs.

A bighorn sheep standing guard while his buddies grab some roadside grub. A fun sighting on one of the many the trips down from Guanella.

These shots are a reflection of me. Of how I see the world. Of my appreciation for the world around me. The people in my life. It is never easy pressing the share button. I have a lot of deep fears when it comes to sharing my art.

Like what will people think? Who will like it? Is it even good enough to share?

I am not perfect. Neither will my art be perfect. I am coming to terms with that.

But you know what is perfect - this place we call home.

I am making it my mission to share these beautiful appreciations with you, so follow along if you love the earth. If you love experiencing the beauty of the universe.

Really trying to take my time around edits…

With that, I have been spending more time with old shots. Old edits. Old versions of myself. It’s not asking myself, “what would make this better?” Rather “how do I feel about this now?”

This just really shows that we are dynamic creatures reflecting our truest self. Here is how I feel about these shots now as I move into my truest creative self. Slide 4 shows the change between images. Let me know your thoughts. I hope you like them.

(I will be living here in the next ten years.)

marsee leong crushing it on Playin’ Hooky (5.8).

If you know Marsee, you know her crippling FOMO will take her down the road or over the mountain. The enthusiasm she will bring to every adventure is infectious and I am always happy to have her on the other side of the belay. Stoked to call Marsee a friend and share adventures like these with her.

Shots from the recent Guanella Pass trip. Recently, I’ve switched my measurement of progress on linking moves and feeling good on the movement rather than a pure send. This has been a huge shift in my mental progress. Even though Crimping did not go down this time, the moves are feeling easier. That is progress my friend.

Workin on the creekend - Nov ‘25

Hot people move rocks 🪨

The real sustainable path forward is to care about the land that we use. Through donations, volunteering, and rallying together we can protect places like this.

Fun shot that I forgot about from a trip in Crusty Butt. This feels straight out of Tolkien or a D&D concept.

As a photographer, the relationship with light is very strange. Always chasing it. Always looking for stark contrasts of light. The most mediocre scene could be in front of you until BAM. The light comes through and you have a frame.
