does anyone know of local businesses, cafés, bookstores, or other spaces that might let us use a room for free on a recurring basis? we'd love to collaborate with any local businesses that would be interested in hosting!

Hi everyone! My name is Mel, and I've recently started doing photography in the CR area! Here are a few of my favorite images from a recent session with lovely local model Sedona Helmke 🙂

I'm currently booking sessions at an introductory portfolio-building rate while I continue growing my portfolio and refining my style.

Each session includes:
• 1-hour session w/ posing guidance if needed
• 15–25 edited high-resolution images (often more, depending on the shoot!)
• 60-day online gallery with full-resolution downloads

I'm happy to photograph individual portraits, couples, families, professional headshots, and more. If you have an idea just send it my way!

I have plenty of creative concepts I'd love to bring to life, but I'm just as happy to work from your Pinterest board or inspiration photos. If you have a specific vibe in mind, I'll help find the right location to match it.

I'm currently booking around the Cedar Rapids, Marion, and Hiawatha area. I'm also happy to travel to Iowa City and surrounding communities, though a small travel fee may apply depending on the distance.
