Hi friends!

My name is Juliah—wife to Karl, homeschool mom of four, Karl’s right hand, and your session sidekick at Weglarz Photo Co.

I’ve always had a passion for creativity and connection—whether it’s exploring nature, learning something new, or capturing the quiet beauty in everyday moments. I believe God has called each of us to reflect His beauty, and photography is one of the ways I get to live that out.

While Karl’s behind the lens, I’m the helper—fixing hair, calming nerves, getting kiddos to smile, and making sure you feel completely comfortable. I totally get how awkward it can feel in front of a camera (my limbs forget how to move too!), but I also know how special it is to freeze those once-in-a-lifetime moments in a way that feels real and joy-filled.

Our heart is simple: to capture moments that matter and create an experience where you feel loved and known.

Hey y’all!

Thanks so much for following our photography page! Juliah and I recently launched Weglarz Photo Co., and we’re finally getting around to setting up our Facebook—better late than never, right?

My love for photography goes way back. Growing up, our family vacations were packed with hiking, long drives, National Parks, and—of course—lots of photos. My dad always had a camera in hand, snapping pictures of landscapes, wildlife, us kids… and an impressive number of signs (he loved photographing signs). At the time, I didn’t realize it, but that was my first real exposure to photography.

Later in college, I took a photography class where I learned the technical side—lighting, styles, developing film (cool experience, but I’m thankful for digital now!). Over the years, Juliah and I have been blessed by some incredibly talented friends like Joe Green (Forever Green Studios) and Hannah White (Brand Bash), who’ve encouraged and inspired us along the way.

By day, I sling chicken at Chick-fil-A—and that’s actually where my marketing journey began. I discovered a passion for storytelling through photos while creating content for our restaurant’s social media. Around the same time, Juliah and I started growing our family, and my love for capturing meaningful, everyday moments really took off.

Today, our mission at Weglarz Photo Co. is simple: to help you preserve life’s authentic, spontaneous, and joy-filled moments. We know photo sessions can sometimes feel awkward or stressful, so we do our best to make the experience natural and fun—so you’re free to just be you.
