Just one of those sessions that felt easy from the very beginning.
A sweet crew, the prettiest evening, and so many little in-between moments that ended up being my favorites.

Sometimes it hits me on the drive home.

Tonight I photographed a family I had never met before — and they trusted me with their people, their season, their memories.

Then I walked back to my car, snapped this on my phone, and just felt really freaking grateful.

Grateful for the families who keep coming back year after year.
Grateful for the brand new ones who take a chance on me.
Grateful that after all these years, I still get excited pulling into a session and leave thinking, how is this my job?

Life is full and busy and a little wild right now, but dang.
I’m lucky to get to do this. 🤎
