As you all know...it is my pleasure to be the photographer for Downtown Charleston Association's Holly Jolly Brawley event each year. This year, I got to watch something truly beautiful unfold. As I watched, it suddenly dawned on me, I was the ONLY one who could see it, so I capture it as best I could.
As The Unit Band WV began to sing "Mary Did You Know" for the crowd, the clouds that had hovered all day began to break, just slightly, allowing some gorgeous rays to shine down on the crowd and the band. However, it was happening to the back of the crowd, and only I could see these beautiful silhouettes emerge from behind the band.
Regardless of what or who you believe in, it was simply a beautiful scene. For those of us believe in a little something more, it was glorious. Either way, I wanted to share them with you. My dear friend Chris tells me silhouettes are my jam...I'm starting to think he's right
