👻✨ Sometimes the best souvenirs aren’t the ones you can pack in a suitcase... they’re the stories that follow you home.

I traveled to Chattanooga with my family to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Between patriotic celebrations, five hundred drones over the Tennessee River, and an unforgettable ghost tour, I discovered something I never expected.

The Read House and its legendary Room 311 became far more than another stop on a walking tour. The following evening, while making our way back through downtown after the celebration, we suddenly realized we’d been staying almost directly across the street from one of Chattanooga’s most famous haunted hotels the entire time.

That unexpected discovery changed the way I saw the city.

In my newest Special Edition, I explore the remarkable history of the Read House, the enduring legend of Annalisa Netherly, the mystery of Room 311, and why the stories we inherit often become the most memorable part of any journey.

Whether you believe in ghosts, folklore, or simply the power of a great story, I hope you’ll enjoy this journey through one of Chattanooga’s most fascinating landmarks.

📘📸✨ NEW BLOG IS LIVE! ✨👻

One of the questions I hear most often is, “How could people have believed spirit photography?”

The more I researched, the more I realized that wasn’t really the right question.

Victorians weren’t simply chasing ghost stories. They were living through an age when electricity, telegraphs, photography, and scientific discoveries were revealing invisible forces that seemed almost miraculous. In that world, the idea that a camera might capture something beyond ordinary sight didn’t seem nearly as impossible as it does today.

In this newest branch of The Oracle of the Green Sight, we’re stepping away from the famous photographs themselves and exploring the fascinating mindset that made spirit photography possible.

And we’re not finished yet… there’s much more waiting beyond the camera lens. 📷👁️

Excellent night down by the Tennessee river for the 250 years anniversary. It was a nice night and a fun but quick show.

🌙🕯️ SPECIAL EDITION: PART 2 IS LIVE 🕯️🌙

Every time I visit Charleston, I leave feeling like I’ve only scratched the surface.

There is something about this city that lingers. Perhaps it’s the history. Perhaps it’s the beauty. Or perhaps it’s the feeling that every hidden courtyard, weathered doorway, and glowing window still holds a story waiting to be told.

In Part Two of my Charleston special edition, I continue exploring the haunted side of the Holy City through some of its most fascinating historic homes, ghost legends, local folklore, and enduring paranormal traditions.

From elegant mansions and mysterious apparitions to stories that have survived through generations of Charleston storytelling, these are the tales that continue to make this city one of America’s most captivating destinations.

As always, some stories come from documented history, while others survive through folklore, ghost tours, local tradition, and reported experiences.

Charleston has stayed with me ever since my first visit. There is something about the city that feels different from anywhere else I’ve been. History seems to linger around every corner, and nowhere is that feeling stronger than along the Battery.

From the mysterious disappearance of Theodosia Burr Alston to the ghostly legends of the Ravenel House, the Pink House, White Point Garden, and beyond, this is a journey through one of America’s most haunted cities.

As always, some of these stories come from historical accounts, while others survive through folklore, local tradition, ghost tours, and generations of storytelling. Together they form part of Charleston’s remarkable paranormal landscape.

And this is only Part One.

Part Two is already on the way and will continue exploring even more of Charleston’s haunted history.

📸👻 Spirit Photography — When the Dead Entered the Image

For years, Spiritualism lived in darkened parlors, whispered messages, mysterious knocks, and personal testimony.

Then something changed.

The camera arrived.

In the nineteenth century, photographs carried extraordinary authority. They seemed objective. Mechanical. Honest.

So what happened when ghostly figures began appearing in photographs?

Were they evidence? Fraud? Grief made visible? Or something that refused easy explanation?

This week on The Oracle of the Green Sight, we step into the strange world of spirit photography, William H. Mumler, Mary Todd Lincoln’s famous spirit image, courtroom battles, skeptics, believers, and the question that transformed Spiritualism forever:

👁️ What has the camera seen?
