👻✨ Sometimes the best souvenirs aren’t the ones you can pack in a suitcase... they’re the stories that follow you home.
I traveled to Chattanooga with my family to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Between patriotic celebrations, five hundred drones over the Tennessee River, and an unforgettable ghost tour, I discovered something I never expected.
The Read House and its legendary Room 311 became far more than another stop on a walking tour. The following evening, while making our way back through downtown after the celebration, we suddenly realized we’d been staying almost directly across the street from one of Chattanooga’s most famous haunted hotels the entire time.
That unexpected discovery changed the way I saw the city.
In my newest Special Edition, I explore the remarkable history of the Read House, the enduring legend of Annalisa Netherly, the mystery of Room 311, and why the stories we inherit often become the most memorable part of any journey.
Whether you believe in ghosts, folklore, or simply the power of a great story, I hope you’ll enjoy this journey through one of Chattanooga’s most fascinating landmarks.
