Today marks 6 official years of Mary Kathleen Photography š¤
This date sneaks up on me every year, but this year it feels especially meaningful. Maybe itās because so much has changed, or maybe itās because Iām finally slowing down long enough to really reflect on it all.
Six years ago, I made my business official with a dream, a camera, and absolutely no idea where this journey would take me. If you had told that version of me that one day sheād be living in Charleston, photographing incredible people, serving creative entrepreneurs, and in the middle of her busiest season of business yetā¦Iām not sure she would have believed you.
Moving my business to Charleston has stretched me in ways I never expected. There have been moments of uncertainty, growing pains, and learning to trust myself when the next step wasnāt always clear. Iāve continued pouring into the photography business I love while also expanding into new ways of serving creative entrepreneurs behind the scenes. Itās been exciting, challenging, and incredibly fulfilling all at once.
As I step into one of the fullest seasons of business Iāve experienced yet, Iām overflowing with gratitude. Every inquiry, every session, every referral, every client, and every opportunity to serve is something I never take for granted.
Thank you for being here through each chapter. 14 year old MK with her camera in hand and big dreams in her heart could never have imagined this life!! And somehow, I have a feeling the best is still aheadā¦
