Pastel dresses, Charleston sunshine, and a bride-to-be surrounded by her favorite girls!

Hannah and her bridesmaids spent the afternoon exploring two of Charleston’s most iconic spots, Rainbow Row and the Pineapple Fountain, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful way to celebrate. Bachelorette weekends can be jam-packed with fun, and one of my favorite things about these sessions is that they let everyone slow down, soak it in, and document the friendships and memories that make the weekend so special.

A huge shoutout to for adding the dreamy decor to Hannah’s celebration!

If a Charleston bachelorette weekend is in your future, consider this your sign to add a photoshoot to the itinerary! I promise you’ll never regret having these memories to look back on. 💕🌈🍍☀️

I’m still smiling about Sally Ann’s senior session!

From the moment we connected, I just knew this would be one to remember. What I didn’t know was that it would somehow exceed every expectation…

After months of planning and a drive all the way from Mississippi, her dream Charleston senior session finally became a reality. Getting to bring that vision to life and celebrate such an exciting season alongside her was truly an honor. What I will remember the most is Sally Ann herself. She is one of the sweetest souls, and her heart was what made this experience so meaningful. Spending time exploring Rainbow Row with her was such a joy.

I shared more from Sally Ann’s beautiful destination senior session on the blog, and this is one you definitely don’t want to miss! Read the full story through the link in my bio. 💕✨🎀☀️

I’ve recently had the opportunity to document a couple of events for B.I.R.D. (Bird Island Research Department), a collaborative initiative between Coastal Expeditions Foundation, College of Charleston Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program, and The M.A.R.S.H. Project, focused on research, education, and stewardship of our coastal ecosystems.

The kick-off event brought the community out onto the water for a Crab Bank Seabird Sanctuary boat cruise through the Charleston Harbor, where we had the chance to learn more about the sanctuary and the importance of protecting these fragile habitats. Shortly after, I joined more than 40 volunteers on Bulls Island for a beach cleanup and native planting day, where we came together to help restore and care for this incredible stretch of coastline.

Since moving to Charleston, I’ve developed a growing passion for environmental education and conservation, and it’s been such a meaningful experience to witness and document a project rooted in both research and stewardship. There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing people come together with a shared purpose...to better understand, protect, and preserve the ecosystems that shape our coastal communities.

I’m grateful to have contributed in a small way by documenting these moments and helping tell the story of the people doing this important work. I’ve learned so much already, and I’m excited to continue following along as B.I.R.D. continues to grow. 🤍🌎🌊🪺🌱☀️

Sally Ann dreamed of coming to Charleston for her senior photos, and after driving all the way from Mississippi, getting to make that dream a reality with her this morning felt so incredibly special!

We spent the morning wandering around Rainbow Row, soaking in the soft morning light, colorful streets, and all the moments in between. Every detail felt magical, but what made the session truly sweet was Sally Ann herself. She is full of joy and kindness, and the type of person who makes everyone around her smile.

Sally Ann, you are pure sunshine and such a light. Thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful season and for traveling so far for this experience. I hope you love these sneak peeks just as much as I do! 🤍✨🎀☀️

Heading into the weekend feeling especially grateful for this season and for all of the beautiful moments I get to celebrate through it. 🤍

I’m getting ready to welcome a couple of visitors to Charleston who are traveling in from out of state, and I truly cannot wait to create and document some really special memories with them. Come back later this weekend for all the goodness!!

P.S. If you’re dreaming up your Charleston senior session, I created a free guide to help make the process feel a little easier (especially when it comes to what to wear!). You can grab it now through the link in my bio. ✨

More from Kat’s session in honor of cap + gown season! 🎓✨

Every senior session this year was so uniquely personal in the best way…meaningful locations, family traditions, little details tied to memories, and the excitement of what’s ahead. Those are always the moments that stay with me long after a session is over.

To all of my sweet seniors, thank you for letting me be part of such an important season of your life. It has been incredibly special getting to celebrate each of you and document this chapter exactly as it felt.

Congratulations, grads! I can’t wait to see what your future has in store. 💕

Whitney’s session is live on the blog, and it’s one you don’t want to miss! ✨

From the stillness of the rowboats at Cypress Gardens to the nursing building at Charleston Southern University, every part of Whitney’s session was designed around telling her story in a way that felt genuine and meaningful to her. 🎓🩺

Whitney wore her grandmother’s ring and necklace throughout the session, and one of my favorite moments was photographing her on a swing that reminded both her and her mom of the one she grew up on with her grandfather…these are the kind of details that make a session feel so much bigger than just photos. 🥹

Go take a look at more of Whitney’s grad session through the link in my bio! 🤍

Christina’s Charleston bachelorette, but make it Rainbow Row! 🌈

The softest light, a row of pastel homes, and the best group of girls celebrating their bride-to-be. I had such a fun afternoon with this group as we celebrated Christina. ✨

A big part of what made it all come together seamlessly is ! From the vision to the details, everything was beautifully planned so these ladies could soak it all in. 🎉

This is your sign to add a photoshoot to your bachelorette weekend…it’s not just about the photos, it’s about the memories you get to relive long after the trip ends! 💕
