2026 Location Update ✨

With so much going on lately, I almost forgot to update you on where we'll be for the rest of the year! So many places across the US for us to meet up, plus Canada as my one international location of the year! Really considering Scotland for next year, or maybe back to Italy since it left me feeling so warm and fuzzy last year 🥰

Which playful shot from this freedom-focused session do you love most? 🥰

I'm actually obsessed with both, but maybe because I see the story behind them...

The first is actually the heart of the session to me 🤍 inspired by the phoenix rising from the ashes, we wanted to show her rising from some really big, emotionally heavy pieces of life- rising from what drowned her. We actually got a "better" water phoenix photo, but this one really highlights the freedom and fun of creating it better to me!

The second was a literal frolic through this field of flowers in their last phase of the blooming season, right before shedding those final petals and redirecting all that energy inwards for the season to nurture the strong roots they'll need for that next phase of growth 🌻 This was so aligned with her reason for finally booking the session, and the fact that we just stumbled upon this space was so serendipitous!

I would literally surround myself in these photos if it were me, the vibes are just pristine ✨ I hope my She is Nature Series keeps taking me to cool places like this Arizona session to meet some of my new favorite people 🫶🏼

Reminder that your tummy is gorgeous & you are worthy of love and respect at any size, shape, color, or texture 💕

I’ve found that the belly seems to be the primary source of shame for so many of the beautiful people I meet in sessions.

I used to be so hard on myself over my perfectly normal, little cutie of a tum tum, until I realized why I felt so bad about it.

The world tells us how we “should” look, setting expectations for our bodies and deciding who is or is not worthy based on how well we shapeshift into this cultural ideal of the female form.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I really wanted that “perfect” belly to earn the love of those around me.

For connection.
For friendship.
For community.

Because it’s so engrained in our subconscious that those things go together.

The perfect body = love, relationships, support, and ultimately happiness.

Then I realized two things:

First, anyone who wouldn’t like me based on my appearance is not someone I would like. I don’t want that kind of energy in my life.

Even more importantly, I refuse to let my happiness be tied to the external perspective of my ever-changing and endlessly worthy body.

The shame we feel over the tummy area is simply a subconsciously learned response to societal expectations and beauty standards…

& we all have the power to consciously learn differently 🫶🏼
