25 years of love, commitment, and choosing each other everyday. And what a beautiful example to their son of what a marriage looks like. Everyday is not easy but it is committing to each other to be there each and everyday… on the good days and the hard days. These two deserve all the best things life has to offer in the next 25 years!

This session was one of the most meaningful and impactful sessions I have ever done.

These two traveled from Louisiana to Charleston to renew their vows and celebrate their 25th anniversary. What I thought was a beautiful vow renewal quickly became much more as I learned their story.
Four years ago, they experienced the most devastating loss, their beautiful 12 year old daughter unexpectedly passed away. The daughter that they waited for and prayed for was gone in a moment. In their lowest moment they turned to their faith and each other.

Instead of being angry, they trusted, they trusted that God had them and they trusted in each other.

In the midst of unimaginable grief, they chose to honor their daughter in some incredible ways. She wrote a book sharing their story and how faith carried them through their darkest days. Together, they created two scholarships in their daughter’s memory, one that pays tuition for kids to go to church camp (they sent 14 kids last year) and the other is a fine arts scholarship. What a beautiful way to honor her memory.

Their story is a reminder that in life’s most challenging moments that light can still be found. Faith will guide you through and love will endure.

I also have to mention something special, I have photographed quite a few sessions at this park but I have never heard the church bells ring like they did that day. They rang almost the entire time we were there. It was beautiful.

It was an absolutely beautiful day and Aaron and I were honored to be able to not only capture your day but also get to know you both. You are an inspiration and we still would love to make our way down to visit y’all! 🦋

Love is choosing.

It is waking up everyday and choosing each other, not because you have to but because you want to.

I don’t have to hold your hand when the world is heavy…I choose to.

I don’t have to show up when things get messy…I choose to.

I don’t have to stay when it’s hard, but i choose you and I choose to stay. Again and again. In every moment of everyday.

Love isn’t an obligation, it’s intention. It is knowing your heart is anchored to someone else’s. It is the power of true love. Not having to but choosing to.

May choosing each other be the easiest choice you make everyday. 💗

We are just a few days away from these two saying their “I do’s”. We had the sweetest time capturing their engagement session. Their love was so natural and genuine.

It’s in the sweet way they would look at each other and smile like they are the only ones around. The way he makes her laugh. The way their hands would find each other in the in between moments.

They just fit. Beautifully, effortlessly, like they were always meant to be and we can’t wait to celebrate their love with them.

Hi, I’m Aaron, husband, dad, videographer, and lifelong creative.

My love for video started back in my high school theater days, where I first learned how lighting, sound, timing, and storytelling all work together to create emotion. These days, I happily geek out over gimbals, drones, cameras, and all things tech, always chasing smoother movement, better sound, and a more immersive story.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing drums, and I still feel everything through rhythm and sound. Punk rock, alternative, and indie music shaped how I experience emotion, and finding just the right song to pair with a film cut is one of my favorite parts of the process. When picture and music lock together and suddenly the story clicks, it’s pure joy.

What drives me most is creating one cohesive, intentional film, something that doesn’t just show what happened, but feels like the day. I’m drawn to genuine connection, quiet moments, nervous laughter, subtle glances, and the in-between beats that often mean the most.

Outside of filmmaking, I’m a PC gamer, love obstacle course racing, and recently completed a Spartan Trifecta with my son (5k, 10k, and 21k all in the same year), one of the most challenging and rewarding things we’ve ever done together.

If we work together, expect a calm, focused presence and a film built with care, thoughtfully shot, intentionally edited, and designed to evoke emotion long after the day has passed. I believe your wedding film should feel true to you, capturing the spirit of the moment exactly as it was.

Hi, I’m Heather, a wife, mom, photographer and storyteller.

I was born and raised in Washington state, spending most of my days outdoors. If I wasn’t camping or hiking in the mountains, I was probably spending time with friends, playing softball or basketball.
I married my high school sweetheart and together we raised two amazing kids. I was so blessed to stay home with them and watch them grow up and be a part of their everyday life. It was chaotic, messy and so much fun. As they got older, I decided I needed something that was just for me.
During covid, time slowed down long enough for me to really see how fast time was moving. Our kids were growing up, our days together were changing, and those everyday moments suddenly felt so sacred. Photography became a way to hold onto some of those feelings. Time is so fleeting and somehow photos have this amazing way to transport you back to a special time.
A few fun facts about me: I love country music, I’ll always cheer on my Seahawks (so please don’t ask for a session on Sundays 😆), I’m happiest outside, I love to fish, and I love trying new restaurants.
Photography found me five years ago, and it quickly became the perfect blend of everything I love: being outdoors, meeting new people, and capturing the personality, connection, love, and chaos that makes each session unique. I genuinely feel lucky to call this my job.
If we get to work together, expect laughter, movement, warm light, and a relaxed experience that lets your family just be. I’ll handle the posing and prompts, you just show up ready to make some memories!

Hi, we’re Heather & Aaron and we’d like to take a moment to introduce ourselves!
Husband and wife. Wedding photo + video team. High school sweethearts.

We met in high school math class (Heather’s least favorite subject), got married young, blinked and realized we’ve been married 22 years. Along the way we built a fun life, raised two incredible kids, adopted two rescue hound dogs, and put down roots right here in the Charleston, SC area.

When we’re not documenting your love stories, you can find us spending time with family, helping our newly engaged daughter plan her wedding, watching our son excel in his pursuit of becoming a firefighter, hunting down the best burger or nachos Charleston has to offer or dreaming about our next vacation.

We’ve always complemented each other in marriage and now we get to do it in our business. Heather captures the genuine moments while Aaron chases the story behind them.

Aaron and I have always just clicked with each other and it shows in how we work. We laugh a lot, keep things light, and genuinely love creating together, which makes the whole day feel easy and natural. We know how to move around each other without a word (but maybe a goofy glance 😉), balance fun with focus, and stay calm when things get busy. We’re realistic, present, and fully invested in telling your story the way it unfolds—because capturing your day, your people, and those in-between moments is our top priority.

Our approach to weddings is simple:
real moments, honest emotion, and stories that feel like you.
We work best with intimate celebrations and elopements.
