Having a day filled with the sweetest candid moments just makes my heart swell. I know that opening up in front of the camera can be such a vulnerable thing, but I love seeing all the happy tears, squinty eyed embraces, and overflowing love you have for one another. When you look back on your gallery and can see your story told through these little moments, you'll be happy you were vulnerable too.

Golden hour hits different in the North Carolina mountains. So so glad we rescheduled K + J’s engagement session from a cold rainy day to this unforgettable evening near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Completely worth the drive from Charlotte if you ask me.

Little moments from the most magical Salt Flats Elopement second shot with . Documentary photography has always been a deep love of mine. I love photographing weddings and elopements as they authentically happen. That means capturing the quiet moments in between the monumental ones. I'm focusing on capturing your dress blowing in the breeze and your little ones spinning in their dresses while you're off taking sunset portraits. All of these seemingly insignificant moments matter because they are part of a story that makes up one of the most precious days of your life.

A little love note post for the Utah Salt Flats. The vastness of this salt flat was beyond what I imagined in my mind. Before visiting, I didn't understand how people could get lost out there, but after seconding on this elopement with , I realized how easy it is to get turned around in this location! It feels like an endless sea of salt.

This location is a spectacle that makes me realize how creative our Creator truly is. How deep His love for us is that He would create landscapes of such beauty and majesty to point us back to His own glory.

This coastal engagement session in Charleston gives me all the romance movie vibes.

Engagement sessions in nature are some of my favorites. Whether it's on the sandy Charleston beaches or in the heart of the North Carolina mountains, there is something about wide open spaces that allow my couple's to open up and have fun with each other. It's where I thrive, getting to see my couple's falling in love all over again.
