MJ and Avery are good friends from college, and I have been DYING to have a chance to post these pics from their elopement in downtown Asheville!! 📸✨🍂

From the ceremony in the art deco courthouse to champagne pops in the River Arts District, the details of this stunning day were all planned by MJ and were so much fun to capture.

I’m so behind on posting sessions, it’s not even funny 🤦🏻‍♀️😅

I have been LOVING my new Canon R6 that my sweet husband gifted for my birthday, and I just can’t seem to post sessions quickly enough…

I’ve got enough sessions ready to post that I’m going to *try* and post one everyday this week, starting with a fun sunset shoot with my girl, Chelsea!

Have I got a story for you guys today… 🥰🤍😻

So the first pic is a sneak peak of the SUPER fun spooky mini session I had with Melanie and Brett yesterday (more to come from that soon!), but I want to tell you about the cat in the picture.

This little girl wandered out of the bushes near us right as we started shooting and just ate up all the attention, and even posed for some pictures!

After the shoot, she was even trying to follow Melanie and Brett’s car while they drove away 😅 I lost her as I finished cleaning up, but as soon as I told Kendall about her, we knew we had to find and take her in.

So, we picked up and adopted Mabel today. We took her to the vet, and plot twist!! Mabel is actually a boy. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The adoption papers were already signed, so Mabel will have to go by a nickname.

Welcome to the family, Mayo! 😻😻

Here's a throwback to this shoot with the Starnes family on their farm. The day was so sweet and so much fun, and what a photogenic fam!
This was a fabulous session to kick-off fall 🍂
