These photos deserved a permanent spot on my feed. I asked on a whim if anyone wanted to do a snowy session after Charlotte's big snow storm and my neighbors jumped at the chance. We snapped these just a few hours later. The secret to great portraits isn't about perfect outfits or locations, it's about genuine smiles and good lighting. We took these photos in a shaded spot between our homes where the light was soft and even. You don't need elaborate plans or fancy backdrops, just a photographer who knows what they're doing, trust, and a willingness to have fun.

Talk about priorities! This adorable family ditched the over-the-top party and opted for an intimate photoshoot at home instead. I loved snapping their little one's first cake smash, and mom's homemade cake with a Greek yogurt frosting was a delightful touch. Franky the family dog was the perfect addition to the session! Capturing genuine moments is what it's all about.
