A Red-tailed Hawk in action — swooping down and catching what appears to be a grasshopper. Moments like this remind me why I love wildlife photography. 🦅

Captured with the Sony 200-600mm lens, which makes it possible to get close without disturbing the scene. Paired with a 60MP camera, the extra resolution really shines when cropping in for detail — turning fleeting moments into dramatic images.

🏈 Football Season 🏈

This weekend I had the chance to capture the Colts from the Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association — and the energy on the field was incredible! ⚡ The passion, teamwork, and drive these players bring makes photographing them an absolute joy.

I love being out there with the players, capturing those moments that show the spirit of the game and the excitement of competition.

🚗🌄 Scenic Drive to Saluda, NC 🌲🛣️

Took a peaceful drive up to Saluda, North Carolina—and it did not disappoint. The winding mountain roads, lush greenery, and those sweeping views made for a picture-perfect journey. Every turn revealed something new and beautiful. 🌿🏞️

There’s something refreshing about trading the city for the curves of the Blue Ridge—highly recommend this route for anyone who loves nature, photography, or just a little time to clear your mind. 🎒📷✨

Just visited the Annie Leibovitz exhibition at the Mint Museum in Charlotte—and wow, what an experience. 📸 Her work is iconic, emotional, and full of storytelling. From bold celebrity portraits to deeply personal moments, every image pulled me in.

As a portrait photographer myself, this was more than just inspiration—it was fuel. 🔥
