For the past 19 years Brian has utilized his many years of experience to serve clients like South Carolina Tourism, Bank of America, Wine Spectator, Perception Kayaks, Fox Sports, Continental Tire, U.S Airways and countless Real Estate Developers. While the industry has changed in many ways what remains constant are the fundamental requirements needed to be a successful location photographer. Pati
ence, flexibility, responsiveness, and problem solving ability are essential. Fortunately for his clients, Brian is equipped with them all along with a critical eye and affable personality. While growing up in Cincinnati, Brian first picked up a camera as a way to document the risky escapades of he and his buddies climbing and rappelling in nearby Kentucky. This soon led to multiple road trips out west while earning his photography degree at Loyola University of Maryland. Those experiences living out of a tent, greeting the sunrise every day, and scrambling the terrain like a mountain goat of nearly every Western National Park with camera and tripod in hand, fostered a deep connection to the landscape and a keen awareness of light. What he also discovered was that the level of preparation and effort required to get the shot and be at the right place at the right time was as gratifying to him as the image itself. Whether photographing people, landscapes, architecture, or lifestyle, Brian invokes the same tenacity and passion in pursuit of his client’s goals as if they were his own. His diverse capabilities, dedication to understanding the client, and reputation for over delivering in every way have been the hallmark of his 16 year career. Creating striking, authentic, end effective imagery that give photo editors peace of mind, make designers giddy, and render art directors’ heroes in the eyes of their clients certainly doesn't hurt either.
