Officially Mr. & Mrs. Graves🤍🖤 The best season of my life by far is this one becoming a wife 😭🥹. Still living in a dream.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday season! I am still here and alive after a few weeks of not posting consistently on here lol. Here is a pic of our engagement photos 😭😍 It has been a FULL season since getting engaged and introducing wedding planning into my schedule!

Learning how to balance life, full-time work, ministry, and my business, along with being present and enjoying this season of engagement that I know I will never get back. Content-creating and keeping up with the social media side of business can be A LOT. Anyone relate?

I am a perfectionist by default. I've definitely added more pressure on myself to show up to things or to implement ideas without considering my limitations as a human being as well. As much as this app has helped so much with businesses, it can feel like a never-ending algorithm game to keep us on the gram rather than putting our attention to other things in life and/or business that also need to be prioritized.

All that to say, I am learning and growing as any small business owner is! I want to always be real and genuine, and include those of you in my process. I am very very excited about this year. Some goals I have are just to be more present, read the Bible in 6 months, develop a consistent schedule and rhythm, and be a healthy individual overall!

STORY TIME 🫶🏽 I met Ruth and Jacob while they were still dating. I I felt the Lord highlight Ruth to me on social media and I gave her a free shoot. They drove all the way from Raleigh for their photoshoot, which turned into a beautiful divine appointment! They prayed and prophesied over me my exact season, even about my boyfriend at the time who is now my fiancé (how wild is that)! A few months later, they got engaged and hired me as their wedding photographer! These two truly exemplify the sacredness of holy covenant. They love Jesus unashamedly and carry some of the purest and kindest hearts I’ve ever met!

There are several lessons in this for any kingdom entrepreneur. Yes, this is a business, and so not everything is given for free. Kingdom though, is upside down than the strategies of this world. What would it look like if business owners followed the leadership of the Lord in every decision? I made a decision to give Ruth a free photoshoot, which resulted in God speaking to me through them— a greater currency because it is eternal rather than any monetary investment. If I never connected with this couple beforehand by simply following God’s leading, they wouldn’t have hired me as their wedding photographer. Everything has a purpose in it.

I follow a lot of people in the photography space who are EXCELLENT. Many times I’d ask myself, “What do I have to give?” My advice… it is important to identify what YOU offer. I don’t mean beautiful brochures and outstanding photos (yes that is part of it because I believe in excellence). But go deeper. Tap into your God-given identity. What did God give YOU that He has not given anyone else? MAXIMIZE on that. It took me some time to figure this out for myself, but I know that what I offer my clients is my personality and that I am a bold believer. Clients have hired me for these two specific reasons because how they FEEL on their wedding day is just as important as the photo product they RECEIVE after their wedding day.

Following the leadership of the Lord in business is rare. Following the leadership of the Lord in daily life for most Christian’s… is sadly rare. But there is no better way than the Kingdom way!

HAPPY FRIDAY 🥳🤩! Haven’t showed my face on here in a little while but my second shooter on Saturday caught this pic of me in my element so here you go 😂♥️ If you’re new here, here’s a few facts about me!

- I’m Colombian 🇨🇴 and Italian 🇮🇹 and fluent in both English and Spanish. I’m a deep lover of culture!

- I love Jesus and serve in ministry full time. I am very open about my faith even in the “business” world. Kingdom and Business are not separate for me. I want to honor God in every facet of my life. I believe in a Biblical worldview of life and marriage. This business started through a word from God in 2018 and I just simply obeyed. I AM ENGAGED!!!!!! The love of my absolute life pulled off the most beautiful proposal. We are on cloud 9, and quite honestly don’t have any words 😭. All I can say is “THANK YOU JESUS!”

I’ve had such an honor and privilege to capture love stories for years, and to experience this has left me in awe. I’M GOING TO BE A BRIDEEEEE!!!!
