Ben Thomas, professionally known as Ben Frank, is a Charlotte-based photographer and visual media creator specializing in concerts, events, nightlife, and entertainment.
Before stepping behind the camera, Ben built his name as DJ Ben Frank, a member of the Mixtape Monopoly DJ coalition. Throughout his DJ career, he worked with 400+ independent artists and released 500+ mixtapes on LiveMixtapes, including projects with Trap Dickey, Tonio Armani, Mike Jones, OJ Da Juiceman, and more.
His transition from mixtapes to visual media was a natural evolution of his connection to music and entertainment. Through Ben Frank Films, Ben has photographed artists and public figures including 50 Cent, DaBaby, Boosie, Webbie, Moneybagg Yo, Trick Daddy, Trina, and more, while covering events connected to Jordan Brand, the Charlotte Hornets, Power 98, and 102.5 The Block.
From mixtapes to media, Ben Frank continues to capture and contribute to the culture.
