To me, Royal Jelly isn't a band, it's an experience. That became apparent not even thirty seconds into their Mantrabash set. Their fun, vibrant outfits foreshadow the energy of their performance, but nothing can prepare you for their fusion of genres, switching of instruments, and members of the band getting off the stage to parade around with the crowd.

Solar Circuit is one of those bands that manage to reach out and grab my attention and hold onto it. They move it up, down, left, right, and all around in circles. Then they take it way out to the fringes of the universe for a while before returning it to me on a silver platter, leaving me to process what just unfolded before my very eyes and ears.

The Mantras always manage to warp my mind in ways that I never knew was possible, contorting and distorting my perception of reality, space, and time. They give me what I love to call Mantravision, which I attempted to depict in some of these edits. The boundaries between past, present, and future dissolve and everything happens all at once. I went into this show with no ideas or expectations, as I had not done my reasearch and listened to Jukebox The Ghost ahead of time, which I'm actually glad about. I got to experience their music and energy purely for the first time live and I must say, it was phantasmagorical to say the least! To see how consumed the crowd was by their performance was my favorite part.
