✨ Celebrating Black Excellence in Central Virginia✨

This weekend, I had the privilege of representing 100 Black Men of Central Virginia at the Black Expo event held at Agnor Elementary School in Charlottesville. The atmosphere was electric with vendors showcasing the amazing talent and businesses from across the city.

From delicious homemade lemonade to mouthwatering fried chicken and fish, and the vibrant rhythms of Chihamba dances it was truly an unforgettable experience!

Events like these remind us of the importance of coming together to uplift and support our community. If you missed out, don’t worry there’s always next time to join in and celebrate with us!

Meet our 2026 Youth of the Year candidates!

Jeremiah (JJ) is a three-year member of the Albemarle Campus Club and served as BGCCVA’s Jr. Youth of the Year in 2024. JJ is Keystone President and an entrepreneur! He recently started a snow removal and lawn care business, Mows and Bros, LLC. JJ is a work hard/play hard guy, enjoying his time on the football field as well as Teen Nights at the Club.

Congratulations to JJ for representing the Albemarle Campus Club this year! The BGCCVA 2026 Youth of the Year will be announced tonight!
