Personality Portraits are a such a fantastic way to photograph younger children. Sometimes asking a child to "smile for the camera" is like pulling teeth, but when a kid doesn't have to force it and they can be themselves, it really takes away the pressure.

Had the absolute privilege to photograph the union of my friend Zack and his beautiful bride, Lauren, the other weekend. While most would stress out at the 20 mph winds we had that day, these two embraced it head on. The waves showed up and I’m obsessed with what we created together.

I hope you two look back on these photos and relive the love and happiness of that day for the rest of your lives together 🩵 thanks again for trusting me with your big day.

Heyyy it's Meg! I'm back at it. It feels so foreign to make a post, but I've been MIA for the past year while I focused on continuing my education. I literally hadn't picked up my camera in 10 months, so it felt SO good to get back out there and make some beautiful photos. I have truly missed the world of photography.

I have a lot to share from this session I got to do of my brother, sister-in-law and nephew while they were down here in Virginia Beach visiting for spring break, but I'm going to start with my absolute favorite black and white edit to date. 🖤

So what do you think? Is it true that if you don't use it, you lose it?
