Memories we’ll cherish forever 🥹

Going on this trip together with my parents (and showing them around Croatia for the first time!) was so so special 🥲🙏

And I’m sure it was always Senći’s dream to go on his honeymoon with his in-laws! 🤣 It’s a good thing we all get along well 🤪

My American parents’ first time in Bosnia & Herzegovina! 🥹🇧🇦🇺🇸

They absolutely fell in love with the country - its food, natural beauty, and most of all, the SOUL of the people!! 🏔️🏞️🫶

We also taught them the art of “polako” while here by sitting for a coffee for hours 🤣☕️ a concept very unfamiliar to the American lifestyle! By the end, they were “polako-ing” like pros 😆😌✌️

I think they finally were able to understand firsthand *why* I chose BiH as my home 🥲🏠

We stayed in Bugojno and Mostar, but they also visited: Livno, Tomislavgrad, Donji Vakuf, Jablanica, Pocitelj, Kravica, Blagaj, Neum… not bad for a first taste of the country in 5 days!! Including one full day for our wedding here of course 🤪👰🏻‍♀️

I wish they could have visited Sarajevo too - so that’s our plan for the next trip ;) You know they liked it when they’re already talking about “next time”! ABd 🥰❤️🙏

As you can see, we had a lottt of roštilj and pite 🤤👨‍🍳

This wasn’t quite enough time for them to try everythingggg that I want them to (grah, gulas, lonac… 😍) but it was at least a good introduction to BiH’s incredible food!!

Plus, we have to leave something to look forward to for their next trip here, right?? 😉🥰

(Oh and they also tried begova čorba and klepe but the phone forgot to eat 🥲)
