My mission in my work and my life is to capture your BEAUTIFUL SPARK. (I truly believe that everyone has one.) I want to find what LIGHTS YOU UP, what MAKES YOU FEEL ELECTRIC within your world and the work that you do.

I’m a huge believer that when a person is doing the work that they love (at least most of the time) and feeding their inner spark, they can put that energy out into the world to make it just a tiny bit better place for us all.

I also believe that a spark shines the brightest when a person is feeding it through creating joy. Sure, life is not all cupcakes and glitter, but we have to do what we can.

For me, social media is not where my spark shines bright. I prefer to live in physical, authentic spaces. That's where my creativity flourishes.

I just posted this welcome mat 9-grid to my Instagram. There, it is interactive and tells more about this grand social media experiment. You'll still see me post the occasional reel or story, but to really keep in touch, let's meet outside of this sphere.

Pure joy. Apparently my office assistant and I share a happy place.

Fun fact: Much of my personal photography is on a phone. It’s the camera that’s always there. These were taken on my iPhone 12. (Read: not the latest or greatest.)

I’ve been networking a ton lately with other local business owners. (In-person connections are so much more meaningful to me than social media. Sorry Facebook ) Inevitably, there is a time for everyone to introduce themselves to the large group, giving their elevator pitch. I finally formally wrote one down using a process by Mary Fisk-Taylor of that I read about in the July magazine. Fruit pizza! Easy to make and it looks gorgeous. My aunt used to make this recipe when I was a kid and now I want to pass it along to you.

⚡️ First, I need your help spreading the word. If you know a restaurant owner, a chef, a baker, or anyone else who loves to make beautiful foods, please tag them in the comments or send them my profile. Photos showing the people and processes behind these mouthwatering creations are so important for a brand’s marketing to new clients.

And now the recipe for fruit pizza!
🍪All you need to do is make a huge sugar cookie on top of parchment paper — makes it MUCH easier to move to a pretty tray after it’s baked. I used sugar cookie mix to speed that part up.

🍪When it came out of the oven, it was pretty lopsided. I used an upside down plate as a guide to cut the edges off.

🍪Frosting - Mix a package of cream cheese, about 1/4 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and a splash of water. (Taste it and adjust accordingly.)

🍪Have fun with the fruit design on top!

🍪Take a picture, because yours will look gorgeous too!
