Is the thought true? Is it Noble? Is it Right? Pure? Lovely? Admirable? Excellent? Praise worthy? ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

This seems like a long list to live up to for any fleeting negative thoughts that come to mind, but honestly, by putting the things we are telling ourselves through this process, our minds and lives can be be transformed. I spend a lot of time fighting negative thoughts, and I come back to this verse until somehow something in me shifts to Holiness and GOODNESS.⁣⁣⁣⁣

This illustration was hand painted at first but nowadays I’m also really into digital art so I decided to perfect it digitally and turn it into a print or card made to order! Someone told me if I turned that drawing into a card they would give it to someone for encouragement, and that was all the motivation I needed to create this illustration and officially open up my online Etsy shop with my artwork! ⁣⁣⁣⁣

The reason I kinda stopped painting. ⁣
⁣
1. I felt like I was no longer enjoying it because the only thing I did with art was teach it and not produce my own work. ⁣
2. It became a matter of what do I even paint and where do I put it and do with it instead of it being just a fun hobby again that brings me joy. ⁣
3. I think I wanted to do something more meaningful with my paintings but I felt like it wasn’t leading anywhere and believed that I was wasting my time. ⁣

But now, I find myself having all the time because of you know quarantine... so I’m going to “waste” all this time and paint and not know what to do with it, give some away, hang them on my walls and most importantly, enjoy it 😊⁣

Hello!!!
Since after school art classes have resumed, (Monday's and Wednesdays) I have 2 more spots open for either days so if you have been thinking to sign your child up do so now! :)

I also offer private art lessons one on one, and those are Thursday's after school if anyone is interested.

It's my second year doing these classes and it's brought me so much joy being able to share a little of what I know to these talented kids! We create some pretty awesome artwork and have the best time doing so! I suppose that means they must like me too 😉

I had the pleasure of doing a painting party last week and although it was a handful having 18 kids around me, it was SO MUCH FUN. I was asked to do another and I just wanted to put out there that I will gladly accept more of these in the future, so if you or anyone would be interested let me know! ;)
