I’m proud to have been one of the photographers for the documentary project “Me and the City” — a Documentary Portrait Series created back in 2019.

I don’t think I’ve ever talked about it here, but this topic remains just as important today as it was then.
From accessible crosswalks to fair representation in the workplace, people’s needs should always come first — and disability should never be a reason for biased or unequal treatment.
This exhibition, organized by the Social House of Equal Opportunities NGO and held at the Youth Center “Kvadrat” in Vinnytsia, highlighted the stories of people with disabilities through honest, unfiltered portraits captured in their everyday urban environments.
Our goal was to show strength, individuality, and a genuine connection to the city — without stereotypes, without simplification. Just people, their lives, and the spaces that shape their world.
