🎒 Instead of “How was school?”… try this!
If you’ve ever asked your preschooler, “How was school today?” and gotten…
“Good.” 😂
Try asking something a little more specific:
💛 What made you happy today?
😂 What made you laugh?
🛝 What did you play with outside?
👫 Who did you play with today?
⭐ What was your favorite part of the day?
🤔 Was anything hard today?
Little questions can lead to BIG conversations.
And sometimes the best time to ask isn’t the second they walk through the door. A snack, the car ride home, bath time or bedtime might be when those little stories finally start coming out. ❤️
