American Bison (Latin: “Bison Bison”). Bison is the largest land mammal in North America. There are two subspecies of American Bison - “Plains Bison” and “Wood Bison”. American Bison are different than the ones in Europe. P.S.: do not mix those with Buffalo, who live in Africa and Asia ☝️. This is a “Plains Bison” (Latin: “Bison Bison Bison”). These photos I took last year in Western Illinois, where they are being reintroduced to, as once they were native to Illinois prairies. Beautiful and very powerful animals. You could feel their massive might even when they walk by and breathe… You don’t mass with these bad boys for nothing, even if they look so calm☝️😉… Here I threw some ideas for you, just in case if you were wondering how the prints would look like in your home…

A night filled with energy and joy that brought in hundreds of people at the heart of Ukrainian Village of Chicago together at St. Nicolas Cathedral. The yearly festival that is imbedded into Chicagoland’s Ukrainian cultural life was filled with an amazing talents shaping a tradition that will be remembered and celebrated for years to come! This year it was our great honor to greet our brave Ukrainian soldiers at the event, who made their priceless and selfless sacrifices! “Caroling Together” brought the opportunity for donations as our small input to help our amazing men and women out there at the front lines. It was my great pleasure to capture that lasting story of the delightful evening! Thank you organizers once again for making this happen!

“Polar Vortex” is a no stranger to the Midwest and yet nobody is ever happily ready to face it!.. Almost nobody… 😉 Well, I am one of those few, who puts a smile on their face, a subzero clothing on and head out to explore the “winter wonderland”! There is a reason why my heart is pounding, when the thermometer dips below 🥶 and the weather alerts ‼️ 🔔 make my phone call me!.. It is like the world becomes so much quieter to make sure you could hear the cracking of the snow and feel the pinch of the crisp air, that tries to put a special makeup on the exposed skin of your face… You get out there, crossing into a parallel universe, leaving the usual scenery and familiar routes behind… And here you are, surrounded by the beauty of the deep freeze creations… You can almost feel the mesmerizing music in the quietness of the arctic cold… I present to you a tiny fraction of the magic, that is melting hearts in the bone chilling cold - “The Touch Of The North”!
