Information regarding the fires in levy County yesterday a fire broke out in gulf hammock multiple homes where evacuated the fire seems to be heading towards Williston/Bronson it has now taken 1400 acres fires can spread fast and be unpredictable some advice...1 water your lawn down and tree-lines near house at dawn and dusk water your house down keep multiple fire extinguishers on stand by store fuel at least 30 feet from your home keep atleast a half tank in your vehicle keep a reserve of water in your home

The fire is not the only danger the smoke is which can spread miles and cause health issues regardless of if the fire is far away always be prepared as fires can move fast have an evacuating route pre planned because in the event you have to evacuate there is a good chance others are going that same way so have 2 special route planned that last thing you want is to be running from a fire and get stuck in gridlocked traffic and now your trapped remember be prepared and do not panic panicking cause mistakes
