The images of the launches from the TOMEX+ mission last week at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility are finally here!

The first image is of the trails made by two Terrier-improved Orion sounding rockets. The v***r tracer released by the first rocket can be seen in the image.

The second image is of the beast of a sounding rocket, a Black Brant IX, lofting the LIDAR payload to study the release of the v***r clouds from the first two rockets from above.

I don't smoke, but could have used a cigarette at the conclusion of the launch window.

A short movie of the dissipation of the v***r clouds is in the works, so come back soon and please visit my website https://anchorsrestphotograpy for these and other high-res images in your favorite formats.

The Navy’s Blue Angels show at Ocean City may have been scrubbed due to low visibility, but their pre-flight was impressive.

The Maryland Air National Guard’s 175th Wing gave an impromptu demonstration on their return to NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility.
