SUMMER UPDATE

Busco athletes Gabby Bowlin, Kate Block, and Emersyn Geiger played in the Great Lakes Nationals. Their team went 3-3 and all three of them played some great softball.

Emersyn led the team with an outstanding batting average of .643 with 6 doubles and a triple. She also had 11 RBIs in the tournament.

Gabby batted .467 with a Home Run and led the team with 7 runs scored. She also led the team in innings pitched and had 24 Ks against 18-U players.

Kate had hits in two of the games and played solid defense at first base.

We want to give a shout out to 3 of our Churubusco High School Softball ladies: JayLynn Rosswurm, Alyssa Marks, and Olivia Konger, who are playing in the Indiana Elite North vs South softball game today. Several of our girls got invites but these 3 were able to make it and represent Busco Athletics! 🥎

Not only are we proud of our girls for getting invited, but we’re proud of the hard work they continue to put in during the off season. 💪🏼
