You've likely heard the term Fresh 48—but most of these sessions actually happen within the first 24 hours after birth.

That's why I'm thinking of calling them Fresh 24's.

Because those earliest hours are sacred. Quiet. Fleeting.

This Fresh 24 session was such a beautiful reminder of why this work matters—tiny hands, wrinkled feet, hospital window light, and love in its purest form.

This is why I fell in love with photography—and it's been my drive from the very beginning. It's not about perfect ex*****on, but about presence. It's about noticing the in-between, the unplanned, the HUMAN.

Perfection doesn't hold the magic—presence does. Some of the most meaningful images come from the pauses, the laughter and the messy in-betweens 🫶🏻

No one would know from these images that this sweet boy was actually terrified of my big camera—but I pulled ALL the ideas out and we pushed through! So thankful this mama trusted me 💕

Ok—I have to get back to posting so that people know I still exist 😅

Truth be told—life is lifeing in 2026 and sometimes it is just really hard to show up on social media and be like "oh hey, look at this super cute family that I took pictures of." Some days its just too exhausting especially after a busy day with business and being a mom and wife 🥺 then we got crazy and added sports this spring 🫠

So, if you can relate to that…sister, I SEE YOU. I AM YOU. When are we getting margaritas? Jk. I can't add anything else to my schedule right now. BUT...it is the thought that counts.
