Love taking photos of things and places that bring pleasure to your minds eye In late 2009 I did just that and started jt Photo Images.

Hi, I am jt,

I first discovered my love of photography in my 20s after taking a course in black & white photography and seeing what artists like Edward Weston, Brett Weston, Imogen Cunningham, Alfred Stieglitz, and especially Ansel Adams created with their images. When digital photography started to come on the scene I stayed away from it due to what I saw as the quality of image issue. However,

digital photography kept advancing and around 2010 the image quality finally started to compete with the quality of the film. Since then digital photography has actually surpassed film and the fact that you no longer need to process your images in a darkroom served as a new siren call to me to try once again to follow my dream. I love taking photos of things and places that you might not ever see but that bring pleasure to your mind's eye. As you will see in my work, I find the most interesting facet of photography for me is capturing the colors and moods of nature. Visit my website, take your time and enjoy my work!
