Every entrepreneur has a unique take on their industry, and their brand shoot should reflect that. Jess is a life coach and focuses on slow living as a way to regulate the nervous system and feel safe. Because of that, her photoshoot focused around slow living - reading her Bible, making sourdough, playing in the creek, and gardening. We did have a few obligatory shots in her office at the desk, but the remainder of her shoot allowed her to get photos she can use as talking points on her social media to really be able to explain her method and what makes her stand out in the industry.

I just delivered a brand shoot today that was full of detail shots. Unfortunately, you can only use so many photos of you smiling at the camera. Detail shots are used to bring out the little intricacies of your company. This client focuses in on slow living and that plays out in her life through reading, gardening, and making long fermented sourdough. While she received a ton of photos of herself, these beauties can be used as more of a blank canvas that fits in with her aesthetic while being visually simple. They can easily have text overlay or act as a background…and they’re one of my favorite things to shoot!
