Cleveland Museum of Art – Illusion Installation

This installation operates as a controlled system rather than a visual trick. Geometry is repeated with precision, light is treated as a structural member, and mirrors remove any reliable sense of scale or termination. The result is perceived infinity generated from finite means.

What makes the piece compelling is not the illusion itself, but the discipline behind it. Alignment tolerances are unforgiving. Sequencing, symmetry, and consistency carry the entire experience. Any deviation would immediately collapse the effect.

Captured at the Cleveland Museum of Art, this is experiential design at its most rigorous—where perception is engineered, not suggested.
