I will always remember how hard it was for me to look at your photos after you passed Mom, but I’m forever grateful we had so many to cherish.

After my mom passed, one of the first things my sisters and I did was go through her house looking for photos. Every printed picture, every album, every little memory we could hold onto suddenly meant everything.

It reminded me how important photographs really are. Not just the perfectly styled ones, but the everyday ones too. The ones that show how you loved, how you held your babies, how you showed up in every season of motherhood.

So if you’re a mom, please get in the photos.
Even if you don’t feel ready.
Even if your body feels different.
Even if life feels busy or imperfect.

One day, your children will look for these images. And they won’t care if everything was perfect.

They’ll just be grateful they have these printed memories.
