Life has been so crazy for so long and I have taken a break from sewing. We got a wonderful surprise this fall and are expecting another little one into our family, so that was the push I needed for a good sewing project!

I decided to make my crib set for this little one. Top quilt and crib sheet are done and I'm am in LOVE with how it's turned out!

Im having an early Thanksgiving with my side of the family this weekend, and then again on Thanksgiving with my husbands family. I'm making some of my pies today, I always get my pumpkin and pecan pies out of the way early and freeze.

What are some tips you do to help make your Thanksgiving prep less stressful?

Yikes! Christmas is fast approaching! I know we still have Halloween AND Thanksgiving to enjoy...but as a sewing mama I've got to think ahead! I will be taking orders for Christmas items from now til Nov 30th. After that I will be closed for Christmas so I can enjoy all the festivities with my family.

Ill be posting a Pre-Order Album for my burlap Christmas banners that sold out last year. I'm happy to take an custom requests and will be working on my 2015 Christmas Banner after Halloween.

It's getting to be that time of year again when all the sweet fall and winter babies come into this world and need a special warm and cozy blanket to be snuggled in.

I usually do a printed minky but I've done a few "solid" colors together and love how simple and elegant this looks. Here is my current project ready to go out to a sweet pea tomorrow 😍

Finally...one of my children are attached to one of my mommy made blankies! It only took 3 kids and this one to almost be 2 to love it. this is one of my satin/minky swirl combos...it's so light and soft! 😍
