25 years later, we remember.
On September 11, 2001, America experienced a tragedy that changed our country forever. Today, we honor the 2,977 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of the first responders and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable loss.
Among those we lost were 343 FDNY members, 23 NYPD officers, 37 Port Authority Police officers, and 441 first responders from more than 30 agencies in total. We honor every single one of them.
We also remember how America came together.
In the days that followed, it wasn’t about politics, differences, or division. There was no left or right. Americans stood together. Strangers helped strangers. Communities grieved together, prayed together, and supported one another.
For a moment, we were reminded how strong this country can be when we stand as one.
25 years later, may we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, the families who carried the pain forward, and the unity that helped America through one of its darkest days.
🇺🇸 We Remember. We Honor. We Never Forget.
