Whenever I stop by Clarksville, I feel obligated to get at least one shot of every hot-rod Crown Vic at the track. When you have as many competitors as the Sportsdrome does, that makes for a lot of photos! Here's a photo feature from late March of 2024.

2020 was a fun year if you were interested in slightly "different" hornets at your Lawrenceburg Speedway. On this occasion, we saw two Hyundai Elantras campaigned by two totally separate teams - one of which raced with the hubcaps still on it - and a Honda Prelude, which apparently never hit the track. Plus Mark Gegner's old Sentra, which I still miss seeing around. Enjoy!

Before I was into home-grown racing, I was a big NASCAR fan. My dad and I went to the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway every year for the first few years they had it. Turns out there was a family connection of some sort to one of the owners of BK Racing (operators of the #73, #83 and #93 cars), so for the 2012 race we were able to get hot passes and got to hang around the pits and the haulers! Here are a few (low-resolution) photos from that memorable race, including some of the underperforming cars we saw on pit row.

I came to Clarksville for the school bus races and stuck around after seeing just how much fun the Crown Vic classes were. If you haven't been to the Sportsdrome, there are powder-puff and regular oval classes as well as a Figure 8 class for the Crown Vics. This usually means a ton of Vics and plenty of hard racing! Here are some shots from my first photo session at the track in June 2020.

It took me a minute to warm up to the Pure/Pro Stocks, but they quickly became one of my favorite classes to watch at Lawrenceburg. Here are a few Pure Stock pics from back in May 2018, including some drivers that are still tearing up the class to this day!

What did the Hornets look like at Lawrenceburg one decade ago? One heck of a lot different, that's for sure! Wraps, body kits, and numbers not made out of duct tape were still a distant dream. I took plenty of 4-cylinder photos on my very first trip to the 'Burg in July of 2016.

I wasn't much of a camera-toting race fan in 2018, so even though I attended a couple of races at the 'Burg, I was still figuring out what I wanted to shoot. I've combined these Modified photos from the two races I attended in 2018 into one album simply because there aren't many of them.

It's Indiana Sprint Week once again, and all eyes will be on Lawrenceburg Speedway this afternoon for the big USAC show! While sprint cars aren't a class that I really follow, I do have some photos here and there, such as this album from Opening Night in 2019. Plenty of familiar faces in here for you Midwest sprint fans.
