If the thought of family photos has you imagining an hour of telling your kids to *please just smile normally*… I promise, that’s not what we’re doing. 😂❤️

During your session, I’ll guide you when you need it, but we’ll also walk, play, snuggle, laugh, let the kids explore, and give everyone a chance to relax.

Will we get the everyone-looking-at-the-camera photo? Absolutely.

But I’m also watching for the little moments in between. The way your kid reaches for your hand. The belly laughs. The hugs. The expressions you see every day but never seem to have a photo of.

Your family doesn’t need to know how to pose.

Your kids don’t need to behave perfectly.

And you definitely don’t need to spend the entire session worrying about whether everyone is cooperating.

Just show up and love on your people. I’ll take care of the rest. ❤️

Okay, I have to know… 👀

Would anyone be interested in doing a stranger photo session?!

Basically, you’d be paired with someone you’ve never met before and come hang out with me for a fun, candid photo session. Think playful, a little outside your comfort zone, and potentially a really fun story to tell afterward. 😂

I’ve been DYING to try one of these, and I just had someone reach out asking about it, so I’m putting out a little interest check before I start planning anything.

This is just an interest check for now—details, matching, boundaries, comfort levels, etc. would all be figured out before anything is officially planned.

It would be limited to ages 18 and up and you would have to be single.

📍Location Spotlight: North Cheyenne Canyon & Helen Hunt Falls

One of the questions I get asked most is... "What should we wear?"

Honestly? There isn't just one right answer.

I've photographed families who coordinated with different colors...
..and families who all matched perfectly.

Both turned out beautifully because the outfits fit their style.

My biggest tips are:

🤍 Choose clothes that make you feel confident.

🌿 Think about where your session will be. Earthy tones look beautiful in nature, while brighter colors can really pop in the right setting.

👟 Wear something comfortable enough to move, play, and cuddle in.

I had so much fun photographing this sweet family at Red Rock Canyon Open Space! ❤️

Even though Colorado decided to throw a little rain our way, they were absolute troopers and trusted me through it all. We laughed, explored the trails, included the family pup, and captured so many sweet moments along the way.

Looking through these photos just makes me smile. It's a reminder that sessions don't have to be perfect to be beautiful. Sometimes the unexpected moments make for the best memories.

If you're wondering what to wear for your senior session, keep it simple.

✔️ Choose outfits you feel confident in.
✔️ Stick with colors that complement your skin tone.
✔️ Avoid large logos or busy patterns.
✔️ Add one outfit that feels a little more dressed up and one that's more "you."

The best outfit is the one that lets your personality shine.

Senior year flies by faster than anyone expects. Before you know it, the backpacks are packed away, the cap and gown are hanging in the closet, and they're off chasing their next adventure.
