A year ago, I packed up my life again, moved back to the US after a few years in Switzerland, and did something that felt both exciting and terrifying: I went all in on building a pet photography business from scratch, in a city where I didn't know anyone.

My cat Iris was there for all of it - she's the reason for the name. Named after the Greek goddess of rainbows, the messenger who connects the everyday to something a little more magical. That felt like exactly what I wanted this business to do!
