Grabbed some red onions from my generous neighbor ☺️. They will be put to good use for sure

Those with tight papery skins are great storage onions, they’ll keep for months. Everything else got sliced or chopped for the freezer.

Just know frozen onions aren’t salsa material or if you’re looking for something crisp in salads but for sautéing or a stew, you’d never know the difference🤗

Warm corn tortillas topped with black beans , salsa , queso , jalapeño and a good squeeze of lime .

Cardamom, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, nutmeg, simmered low and slow and finally added some cane sugar and the black tea.

Sweetened just right, because I’ve unfortunately bought and dumped some syrupy sweet chai from here and there🙃 (you know them $$$)

This sits in my fridge for about a week and I just add milk and serve warm or on ice.

Garden scissors, a handful of herbs, hot water, and raw honey.

Lemon verbena + lemon balm + mint + hyssop = the most fragrant, calming tea I didn’t know I needed today.

Grow it, steep it, slow down for five minutes. That’s the whole recipe.

Dragon egg cucumbers, red onion, dill, lemon, honey, Greek yogurt, salt, pepper, nasturtium . No cook and all the crunch.

Had to bring the bobolo and fish outside for this one. Roasting the spices, blending, steaming and all those fresh herbs from the garden 👌🏾
