He worked full-time as a photographer for more than 20 years. Now it’s a fun side gig to help people document their milestones. Sam discovered his love of photography and journalism in his sophomore year of high school and spent 2.5 years as a member of the Rolla High School newspaper. He believes in honest photographs without the need for digital manipulation, which was emphasized during his educ
ation at the University of Missouri Journalism School. He moved to South Carolina with what he could fit into a Toyota Corolla, and worked in Virginia before returning home to Missouri after 3.5 years. He loves people and good conversation as much as he does photography and animals. He's photographed everything from presidential candidates, professional athletes and community vigils, to pet portraits and a wealth of landscapes across the globe.
