For those who noticed the page name change, I wanted to explain why.
When I first created this page, it was solely about Charlotte's leukemia journey. Over time, though, this community has become so much more than treatment updates and hospital stays. It's become a place where I share childhood cancer awareness, advocacy, fundraising, and the reality of raising a child with cancer.
Charlotte's story will always be the heart of this page, but I'm also the one behind the screen sharing the highs, lows, victories, fears, and everything in between. Adding my name felt like a better reflection of what this page has grown into (also Facebook requires an adult to run the page since we are monetized.)
I also wanted to be transparent about something. Social media has created opportunities for our family that I never expected. Any income generated through this page is invested for our girls' futures and college education through a good family friend Charney Investment Group, LLC. So every like, comment, share, follow, and interaction doesn't just help spread childhood cancer awareness, it helps support Adeline, Charlotte, and Lainey long-term as well. Last month was around $100 which is the most our page has ever made.
So while the name may look a little different, the mission hasn't changed. This will always be Charlotte's Courage. We will continue sharing her journey, advocating for childhood cancer, celebrating milestones, and hopefully helping other families feel a little less alone along the way.
Thank you for following, supporting, praying, donating, encouraging, and loving our girls. We are so grateful you're here. 🧡🎗️
