Life has looked a little different around here lately. 🤍

If I've seemed a little quieter than usual, it's because I've been soaking in one of the biggest milestones of my own.

While social media got a little quieter, Boundless Joy never stopped. Behind the scenes I've still been answering emails, planning sessions, editing galleries, preparing for this next season of business... and preparing for my biggest adventure yet: becoming a mom.

It's funny. For years I've had the privilege of documenting your stories, pregnancies, newborn snuggles, first birthdays, and growing families. Now, for the first time, I get to step into this season myself.

It's made me even more grateful for what these photographs become.

Because one day this little girl won't fit under my heart anymore.

These moments are fleeting. That's why I believe so deeply in preserving them.

Over the next couple of months I'll be fully embracing maternity leave, slowing down, and enjoying these precious first weeks with our little one. ❤️

I'll officially be welcoming clients back in October, and I can't wait to get back behind the camera, celebrating your growing families once again.

And yes... Fall Minis are happening this year! 🍂

This year they'll be extra limited so I can balance motherhood and serving my wonderful clients.

There’s a moment a few weeks after a baby arrives that doesn’t get talked about enough.

You’re no longer in the fog of the first few days.
The house has settled into a rhythm.
Big siblings are starting to understand who this tiny new person is.

It’s not the brand-new newborn stage anymore.

And that’s exactly why I love documenting it.

In-home baby sessions are slow and gentle. We read books, peek into the crib, change diapers, and capture the tiny details that will be gone before you know it.

The way their toes curl.
The way their big sibling leans in close.
The quiet moments in the nursery you so carefully prepared.

I get this question a lot: “How do mini sessions actually work?”

So here’s exactly what to expect:
1. You choose your time slot for April 11 at Franklin Park.
2. After booking, closer to the date, I send you a style guide and all the location details so you feel prepared (not guessing).
3. We meet at your scheduled time for a relaxed 20-minute session. I guide you the whole way. We will get a mixture of “grandma” poses (everyone looking at the camera) and more connected, movement photos.
4. Within a couple of days, you receive your unedited gallery for the selection process. Your session includes 6 digital images, with the option to add more if you fall in love with extra favorites.

That’s it.

Short. Simple. Joy-filled.

Mini sessions are designed for busy families who want beautiful, updated photos without the time commitment of a full session.

Not every family needs the same kind of session.
And that’s a good thing.

Mini sessions and full sessions are both beautiful, they just serve different seasons.

Mini sessions are perfect if you:
• Want updated family photos
• Love seasonal outdoor settings
• Need something short and efficient
• Have littles with short attention spans

Full sessions are ideal if you:
• Want more time and flexibility
• Love storytelling and candid moments
• Want outfit variety
• Have multiple kids who need time to warm up

Neither is “better.”
They’re just different experiences.
